Super Therm and smell or odour reduction
We were asked if Super Therm® Ceramic Solar Heat Coating can stop smells or odour permeating the substrate.
While we have not tested this thoroughly, we do know that Super Therm contains titanium dioxide (TiO2), is one of the methods used for elimination of volatile organic compounds, which are the cause of odour nuisance in indoor and outdoor air (source). While we do not make any claims regarding odour reduction from external sources it is up to the customer to make that decision if they are seeking to reduce odours. This is all we can state.
